Collaboration with Swoon and Climbing Poetree
Material: This metal print is created with gold sublimation. First, a paper printed on a dye-sublimation press uses 400 degrees F to transfer the image to metal. This process is repeated eight times. After cooling the ink becomes permanent, scratch-resistant, and weather proof.
Description: There is nothing more beautiful than being both flexible and adaptable. Being able to stretch your hands and head into the sky while planting roots deeply into the core of the Earth. The deep autumn colors are to remind us to let go of what no longer serves us like the falling leaves of trees. The image is overlaid with several washes of gold in different shades and textures to celebrate one's ability to be both heavenly and of the Earth through surrendering and relinquishing anything that keeps us from this balance as above and below.
